I just want to give a quick word of support and thanks to all the Cowboys/Cowgirls who help the club set up and tear down the stages each month. As you can imagine, setting up and tearing down is not the most exciting task, but is necessary to our ability to shoot. Here are a few pics of some of the people who came out last weekend for set-up. They are representative of those who helped, but do not include every person there that day (but nearly all).
Typically, we set up on the Saturday prior to Sunday’s match and tear down on Monday. Set-up includes placing and setting up the targets, tables, and chairs, water, wash stations, and grill, and then painting the targets. (A special thanks for Count Sandor this month for painting the targets (by himself) the week leading up to the match.)
If anyone can give the club a hand either setting up on the Saturday before, or tearing down on Monday following, a match it would be appreciated. Set-up and tear down begin at 9:00 a.m. We understand work gets in the way of many people who would otherwise be willing to help. If you have any questions please email us.
