Nov 6 Wild Bunch and Nov 7 Cowboy Match Information

Illowa Irregulars’ NEXT AND LAST regularly scheduled monthly matches are scheduled for Saturday (Wild Bunch) and Sunday (Cowboy Action), November 6 and 7, 2021. is Sunday, November 7, 2021.  Join us for one last hurrah!

Wild Bunch Details (Saturday, Nov 6):

  • Registration starts at 10 a.m., match begins at 10:30 a.m.

Cowboy Action Details (Sunday Nov 7):

  • Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. with a 9:15 a.m. Safety Meeting 
  • Badlands Charlie is November’s Match Director
  • No advance registration required; just show up and be ready to have a great time

    • As we did for many of our monthly matches this year, we are publishing November’s stages in advance. But, unlike previous Cowboy Action Shooting matches for which we published the stages one week in advance, we are publishing the stages for the November Cowboy Action Shooting match two weeks in advance. We are publishing this with a little extra lead time, not because they are difficult, but to give you a chance to think about giving another “style” a try. You’ll see that each stage description contains a suggested shooting style. Of course, trying something different is not a requirement so even if that is not your game, come on out for this last match of the year.

MATCH SETUP: Setup for both matches will be on 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 6. If you’re able to help us set up for the matches please do so.  Also, don’t forget we tear things down and put targets away at 9:00 a.m. Monday.

ILLINOIS STATE MATCH: As you’ve heard, Illowa Irregulars is hosting the 2022 Illinois State Match July 15-17, 2022 – Mayem on the Mississippi. We’ve a 180 shooter limit and are approaching 40% full already.

Here is an image of what the Championship buckles may look like. But, you can’t win one if you don’t shoot and you can’t shoot if your not registered. While you’ve some time yet, if you want a chance to win this buckle, don’t wait too long before sending in your registration – we anticipate hitting our limit. Must be a current SASS member to shoot.
