Howdy all. Well, Thanksgiving is behind us and we’re steaming on towards Christmas and the New Year. It’s sort of a quiet time for the club, in general. However, here are just a few updates to keep everyone in the loop.

Christmas Party: First just a reminder that the club’s Christmas Party is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., December 4th (this coming Saturday) at City Limits Saloon & Grill, 4514 9th St, Rock Island, IL 61201. If you’d like to come and have not contacted us yet, there is still time – just RSVP to Daisy Ann via email by clicking here. Include your name and number of people attending.

2022 State Match: Planning continues for the SASS 2022 Illinois State Championship. We are right at 50% of our limit with registrations coming in each week. While we’re unlikely to fill up in the next few weeks, we believe we will hit our 180-shooter limit. Keep in mind that posse requests will be filled in the order received. If posse assignment is important, you may want get your registrations in sooner rather than later, but rest assured we still have plenty of space. Click here to download the Registration Form.

RO1 Training & Refresher: Illowa Irregulars is hosting an RO1 Training and Refresher Course on January 22, 2022. The course is limited to the first 25 people to sign up. As of today, we only have 8 slots remaining. If you’re need an RO1 or Refresher Course, here’s your chance, but don’t wait too long. Click here to be taken to the sign-up website.

2022 Land Run: The 2022 Nationals reached their shooter limit in relative short order. Several cowboys who shoot at Camden Mills on a regular basis are registered. See the table to the right. I apologize if I left anyone out.

It’s also interesting to review the distribution of attendees by state. The table to the left shows the number of shooters per state (Illinois has the 4th most and Iowa the 13th).

For those that prefer a graphical representation, I also included a color-coded Bubble Map to illustrate the distribution by state. The bigger the circle the more shooters from that state.

Have a great day. We’ll see you all soon.
