If anyone is interested, Clinton County Fair is hosting a Mounted Cowboy Action Shooting event in the horse arena at 7:00 p.m., August 20. Like our sport, this is a timed event except these cowboys and cowgirls are shooting from the back of galloping horses. If interested, take the short trip to Clinton, Iowa to see it for yourself.
Correction, the Fair’s location is in Dewitt, Iowa, which is in Clinton county, too.
