Our crew spent the day setting up targets and some of the other amenities we need tomorrow during the state championship beginning tomorrow. I want to give a HUGE thanks to all the volunteers who came out to help us set up. It was a full day’s job (even though several of us had been up there every day this week). We’ve just a little bit left to do tomorrow.
I wanted to give you an update on the range. It was an absolute pleasure to be there this morning. All the photos below were taken about 10:00 a.m. If you’re coming, this is what you will see and experience this weekend. (The shotgun targets were not set when I snapped these photos). Lots of nice shade in the mornings, pleasant sunlight, and generally pretty moderate temps are all in store for us. It’ll get a little warm in the afternoons, but for the most part, we’ll be done. If you’re one of the 147 registered shooters, you’ll see this in person tomorrow. If you weren’t able to come, for whatever reason, this is what you’re missing! Maybe another time.
On a related note, we’ve 97 people signed up for the Saturday evening Riverboat Dinner Cruise on the Mississippi River aboard Celebration Belle. It should be an outstanding evening on the river!
