llowa Irregulars’ last matches of the year are scheduled for Saturday, November 4 (Wild Bunch) and Sunday, November 5, 2023 (Cowboy). Registration opens at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday for Wild Bunch, and at 8:00 a.m. with a Safety Meeting at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday for the Cowboy match.
The weather forecast for both days looks to be just what we should expect for November – crisp mornings but warming up nicely. Jackets suggested.

Wild Bunch Stages may be downloaded by clicking here.
Daylight savings time ends Saturday night/Sunday morning so don’t forget to set your clocks back. Not the end of the world if you forget, though – you’ll just be really, really early on Sunday!
An important aside: The portable toilets that are normally in the cowboy town are removed for the winter. The indoor toilet in the registration/scoring building will be open. Sorry for the inconvenience.

2024 Illinois State Championship: Be on the lookout for the official announcement concerning the SASS 2024 Illinois State Championship which will be coming soon, including the registration forms. Hint: Pencil in August 16-18, 2024.
If you were here either (or both) of our first two state championships, you’ll like this one too. If you couldn’t make it in 2022 or 2023, you should consider heading our way in 2024. 3 days of cowboy action shooting fun, Friday Warm-up and Side matches, a free Friday night pizza party, Saturday and Sunday main match stages (6 on Saturday and 4 on Sunday), an optional Saturday Evening Riverboat Dinner Cruise on the Mississippi River aboard the Celebration Belle, and an outstanding Awards Ceremony at the air-conditioned Milan Community Center at the conclusion of Sunday’s stages. Of course, we’ll also be setting up the State Record Stage during the championship to give shooters another chance to set either a State and/or Club record. Click here to see the current list of State and Club record holders. Who knows, perhaps your name could be on this list.
