Easter on the Walled Range

A little ray of sunshine and warmth is all it takes. I decided to head out to the range and get a little practice in while we await the green light to restart. Not quite the same, but better than nothing. It’s supposed to be a little cooler this week so I may have to wait until next weekend before heading out again.

Who knows what May will bring. We’ll keep you updated here as we learn more and as the club makes some decisions as to when it will restart its season. Until then . . . Happy Easter!

Illowa Irregulars Events Reminder

Hope this email finds you all safe and well.

Just a reminder that we are not having any cowboy activities in April. This means no clean-up day, no match, and no new shooter clinic.

Unless the governor extends the “stay at home” order, we will have the May matches. Watch this space for further information.

Stay safe.

April Event Cancellations

In keeping with federal, state and local protocol, the Milan Rifle Club is cancelling all events of 10 or more people thru April. This includes, among other club events, the following Cowboy-related activities:

  • the April Cowboy Matches,
  • the New Shooter Clinic, and
  • Scheduled Practices.

This decision was made by the Milan Rifle Club Board of Directors.  The latest information concerning the Illowa Irregulars can be found here on our website. We thank you for your support.

Illowa Irregulars March 15 Indoor Shoot Results Posted

We had a good day with lots of people coming out for the potluck/swap meet/indoor shoot. The Indoor Shoot Results have been posted here. Congratulations to Mel Function who edged out Paul Bearer by a single point.

Looking forward to our first outdoor match of the season on Sunday, April 19th. Don’t forget about our New Shooter Introductory Clinic scheduled for Saturday, April 18. If you know someone who may be interested, send them our way. Here is a link to the Introductory Clinic’s flyer. Feel free to print it out and share it with others.
